Novice/First training
May 15, 1997Leeds Armley.
Started training with a friend who was a good 1st Dan. We were doing Ju Jitsu and Kickboxing together. So decided to keep up the the Judo. After training and grading with another Judo Association for a while, I found another club which was fitted in with my diary/logistics. I met Gary Don of the Yorkshire Judo Association. I went there as a blue belt and started under their banner as a green. I graded for my 1st Dan in December 2003. Been with Gary and Yorkshire Judo ever since. I teach in Leeds and Ripon.
