Bio
British Judo Association (BJA) 1st Kyu.
I started judo as a kid and got to green belt with Eric Hayes at the Yoshin Ryu Judo Club bass in Leigh. Their affiliation was the Amateur Martial Arts Association (AMA). I then stopped judo for a number of years. I subsequently found Bolton Judokwai and trained under Olympian Matthew Clempner (now BJA 7th Dan) and his son Matt Clempner (now BJA 5th Dan). Matthew transferred my grades from the AMA and promoted me to blue (2nd kyu) and brown (1st kyu).
Note: I have requested my information from the BJA to get details of my promotion dates.
