Hey everyone,
Was wondering if anyone has bought from or followed some of the JudoFanatic tutorials.
If you have do share your experience, particularly if it helped improve your game.

I've picked up a few. The ultimate Tachiwaza was nice and it's also free, so there's nothing to lose. I also really look forward to anything from Israel Hernandez. I love the inverted/outside Ippon Seoi Nage from him. Oddly enough, I've picked up several from Travis Stevens as well, and while the guy is waaaaaaay better than I'm ever going to be, I don't care much for his instructionals. Granted, when I'm better in Judo that may very well change.
Thanks for sharing. I'll be sure to check out the Tachiwaza one. I picked up The Drop Seionage Blueprint by Elio Verde back when COVID-19 first hit because JudoFanatics was offering one free tutorial. I really enjoyed it.

I have to say, my favorite stuff from a Travis Stevens seminar was actually his newaza (a lot of the Judo ground game he showed were core pieces of my game, just done better and with new details, so that was exciting and excellent). I found his tachiwaza teaching hard to connect with, though.
Kind of ironic.

I think his teaching might be very reminiscent of how J. Pedro taught him and how he assimilated those techniques.
He might be similar to how John Danaher breaks down BJJ. It seems dry to listen to it.

Having gone through instructionals from both people, I don't think this is the case.
Okies
I found both to be quite dry.
Well explained but quite dry.

I actually like your stuff very much. I have been using your O Uchi and Ko Ouchi video from way back when you did it outside a garage door with a chair. Thank you :)
