Conventional Uchikomi ? or are you asking for unconventional or old school stuff ?

Because doesnt everyone already know most of the conventional uchikomi already? Would love to see the regional variations though :)

Do 30 uchikomi wiTh your opponent with square feet
Then 30 with their right foot forward
Then 30 with their left foot forward

This is a great way to get people to alter their technique while doing uchikomi. It also shows you how some throws don’t work if your opponent stance or grip changes

Something we do where I train is what the trainer calls suicide drills. We get divided up into groups of three and he sets a 2 minute timer. One is in the middle and performing a specific throw, while the other two stand at each side and serve as his throwing dummies. The guy in the middle has to perform as many reps the the throw we're working on in that two minutes as he can, and the guys he throws have to work on their breakfalls (no resistance) and get up as fast as possible to avoid making the man in the middle wait on them. When the timer is up, one of the guys on each side take the center guy's place and we go again.
That drill is certainly the worst. lol It's a tough drill for sure.

We utilize the old-fashioned line drills but on the way back to where we started our teacher has us grab unorthodox grips so as to get used to throwing from sub-optimal grips and seeing what throws are absolute rubbish without proper grips etc...
